KT to launch subscription-based 5G game streaming service with Ubitus

South Korean operator KT has announced plans to launch a 5G game streaming service on a subscription basis. KT will offer the service in partnership with Taiwanese cloud gaming services provider Ubitus, Yonhap news agency reports. According to KT, its service will allow subscribers to play high-end PC and console video games stored on remote servers via 5G streaming, without downloading games on their mobile devices.
