
In terms of audience composition, viewers aged 13 to 34 tend to spend twice as long streaming when watching on connected TV devices, compared with watching on the computer or mobile devices. In that regard, the report said consumers aged 13 and older spent an average of more than an hour per day streaming content on connected TV compared to 36 minutes on the PC and 24 minutes on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Other findings include the fact that only 7 percent of live TV viewers are aged 25 and 34 while 19 percent of connected device viewers are in the same age bracket.
