Xiaomi has obtained a court order against a US ban on investing in its securities. The company was placed on a black list in January for alleged links to the Chinese military, a claim it has always denied.
The US district court for Washington, DC granted an injunction suspending the order that banned US citizens or companies from investing in Xiaomi's shares. Xiaomi said the judge agreed with its argument that the order naming it a 'Communist Chinese Military Company' was "arbitrary and capricious".
The suspension applies while the company's full appeal is heard.
