Samsung flip phone to feature in second season of Netflix's 'Emily in Paris'

Netflix has teamed up with Samsung for the second season of the show Emily in Paris, produced by MTV Entertainment Studios. Emily’s boss is played by Samsung ambassador Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, who in season two will be shown owning a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G. 

There will also be an integrated campaign for the second season, with offline ads, social and influencer content, and a TikTok filter through the lens of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The filter will allow fans to “flip the script” and become the lead character in their own Emily in Paris animated poster. A Galaxy Z Flip 5G will unfold in front of the user, putting them front and centre before the iconic Eiffel Tower. TikTok users will be able to try out the Flip the Script TikTok Effect on the platform from 28 December.

Emily in Paris season 2 will be available on Netflix from 22 December.

Samsung sees Q4 operating profit up over 50 percent

Samsung Electronics is guiding for an operating profit of KRW 13.7-13.9 trillion for the fourth quarter of 2021, on revenues of KRW 75-77 trillion. The company noted that the figures reflect a one-time special bonus made to employees.
