
Additional features include a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera, backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front is a 16-megapixel in-display selfie camera. The handset also offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that doubles as a power button and a headphone jack.
The Redmi Note 9S will initially be available in a combination of either 4GB RAM and 64GB storage or 6GB/128GB in southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand for around USD 249 and USD 279 respectively. Information regarding its availability and price in other markets will be announced in due course, said Xiaomi.
