Wednesday 10 March 2021 | 16:31 CET | News
Smartphone shipments will lift 13.9 percent year-on-year in the first quarter, after returning to growth in the fourth quarter of 2020, according to the latest study from IDC. The advance will be driven by continued recovery in demand and a supply-side push of 5G devices. For full-year 2021, shipments are seen up 5.5 percent, following a contraction in 2020 of almost 6 percent. For 2020-2025, smartphones will increase by a CAGR of 3.6
