USTelecom starts legal challenge of FCC Open Internet rules

Industry association USTelecom filed a lawsuit against the FCC's Open Internet rules. Following publication of the net neutrality rules in the Federal Registry, opponents can appeal the regulations in court. USTelecom, which is challenging the rules in the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, said the Open Internet regulation is "arbitrary and capricious, and violates federal law". While the industry supports net neutrality standards, it believes the FCC took the wrong approach in regulating the matter, by relying on Title II of the Telecommunications Act, USTelecom said in a
